St-Ambroise Cream Ale boasts a luxurious, thick head thanks to the nitrogen injected into every pint, ist fine bubbles taking the edge off the harsh carbonation found in many North American draft beers. That silky, long-lasting head caps an irresistibly smooth yet muscular ale. Careful, it’ll give you a telltale moustache!

A good interpretation of the style. The pour is a transparent copper colour with a thin rocky tan coloured head. Aroma is grains, yeast, and earthy hops. The flavour is malted grains, some weak spice, and a hop finish. Nothing exciting, just a well done effort by McAuslan.

Had @ the Merchant Ale House in St Catherines, Canada - drinking this beer on draft .. . insanity, smells like apricots- thought they poured two apricot brews for me, but verified.. . very creamy mouthfeel but a bit thin .. . started awesome but then dropped off .. . . It sounds like you're working for your car-r-r. Simplify-y, ma-an!

It's only my point of view...But this is close to a perfect beer, fresh floral aroma, creamy head with good retention floral, vrey sweet on the palate with some bitterness presence... like Chopz said it's highly addictive even more in 2011...Only available on tap this is probably one of the best Cream ale in the world...

On tap at fall ale fest. Taps a hazed dark honey color, with a billowing creamy head. Aromas are subtle but you get whifs of floral hops, apricot, some sweet grainy notes. Nice hop "bite" up front with a wonderful creamy smooth mouth feel, some citrus-peach notes in the middle with a clean, drying , delicate malty finish. I think we got something here. Cream ales are kind of a bland two dimensional style but this is both layered and subtle as well as smooth and creamy....don’t know how much the nitrogen delivery has to do with it but this is one of the better commercial cream ales you’ll find anywhere.

Hands down a lot better than Sleeman's cream ale (the one I think most Canadians are familiar with). This is a clear coppery-gold colour with a nice head (they claim it's the nitrogen). It went down well with a nice hoppy finish.

Hands down the best beer i've tried in this style. Not much to add to the other reviews as they hit it on the head with floral aroma and some bitterness in the finish. Very creamy and very, very good. A great session ale

Very very creamy, with a nice head and alot of flavour. Red colour with lots of flavour. My favorite cream ale, too bad it only comes off the tap, and you never see it at the liquor store.

Lost my tasting notes, but one I remember as being a tremendously enjoyable beer. Very well developed flavour for an often dull style. surely one of - if not the - best cream ales Ive had.

Sampled for free at The Bow And Arrow. A very nice aroma of wildflowers, with a great appearance. A somewhat thin mouthfeel that hits the sides of the mouth, albeit lightly. The taste starts out like a Bitter and finishes like an IPA. Overall, not bad, but I wouldn't pay for it.

Pours a reddish amber colour with a thick creamy white head that has great retention. Aroma isn't very powerful, mostly caused by the thickness of the head, but what is there is pleasant. Floral and wheat flavors come to mind with the mouthfeel bieing quite creamy, the finish is slightly bitter. They really should have this one in can's like they do for Kilkenny, Guinness... TRY IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
