Bursting with taste, Young's Bitter is an easy to drink, refreshing cask ale with a fresh, fruity aroma that leaves a long, satisfying bitter finish. It is traditionally brewed to deliver a clean taste and is light and dry in flavour with a subtle taste of hops. Brewed by methods unchanged for generations to modern standards using only the highest quality traditional ingredients. 100% malt brew: Maris Otter and crystal malt with Fuggle and Golding hops.

Another great Bitter had in London at the Punch and Judy. This beer was great but thinner than the best of the bitters experienced (See Harveys's). The great thing about this beer is that Young's knows how to do it - this beer is classic Brittan. The Punch and Judy in London is legendary and added to the experience of enjoying this beer. It was very cool to enjoy a beer in a bar that is older than my country. This beer was drawn from a forced draft - stellar!

Bottle pour is pale, hazy orange with a small fading white head. The aroma is of musty yeast and lemongrass. The taste is very average. Notes of lemon peel, sweet sugar, and wheat bread accompany an acidic mouthfeel. It's easily sessionable, but certainly not a favorite of mine.

Sampled in London. A nice drink. The bitters are nice and the hops used are excellent as well. It is a very smooth drink with a little bit of bitter aftertaste but is nice. Pours dark brown.

Nice head, dissapers fast though. Bronze yellow color. Aroma is fruity and good fresh. A bit malty maybe, but it's OK. Taste is nicely citric and a bit bitter. Great beer for thirsty traveller I should say. Really good thing to have in a hot summer day.

Bottled. Pale orange colour. small bubbly head. Weak hoppy aroma with hints of vegetables and fruit (weak). Hoppy flavour with caramellish and hayish hints. A bit mouldy too.

amber colour, fine head and a nice lacing, well-hopped with a floral aroma, buttery, smooth with a moderate bitterness and a dry finish - pleasant but not much more

Sampled at Britannia Pub, London. Hand-pumped, cask conditioned. It was a nice bitter with citrus notes. Hops and malt throughout with a dry, bitter finish. Good, yet unremarkable amidst a bounty of bitter ales in London.
