This dark malty lager beer style is a traditional Spring specialty in its native Germany. The rich, complex character of German Munich malt dominates the aroma and flavor, while cold aging (“lagering”) adds smoothness and drinkability to this full-bodied, flavorful brew.

Ironically enough, I announced less than a week before this beer came out, that they should name it the "I'll be bock". Funny how things work out.. Anyways, pours a dark, clear copper colour with a medium sized white head. Aroma is moderately malty, with a clear nutty and roated malts character. Sweet, toasted almonds and caramel in the nose. Taste is full, well carbonated with plenty of sweet flavor but not over powering. tatey all around.

This one poured a dark copper color with a thick foamy tan head. It had a sweet malty aroma with a firm malty flavor and a nice round mouthfeel. It was tasty, but a little sweet for my preference. Once I finished half of it, it took a bit to pound it down just due to the level of malt sweetness.
