Dark brown with red hints with a minimal beige foam. Black coffee, prunes, marzipan, almonds and licorice. Big flavour of vanilla, nuts, maize, milky chocolate....tastes pretty much like a bourbon.barrel impy. Vanilla, brown sugar, chocolate, alcohol, almonds, brown sugar, figs and oak.

NorCal December '07 - Another huge THANK YOU goes out to oh6gdx for sending me this one. It's a fantastic beer on it's own, but after having the 001 batch, I think that's quite a bit nicer. But as I said, this is still a great beer.

The beer pours out a dark brown, almost black hue with a next to nothing brown head. Aroma of whiskey, vanilla, chocolate and sweet malts. It's a very strange mixture but it works very well. Mouthfeel is full, round and smooth. Flavors are chocolate, roasted malts, and whiskey. Not nearly as complex as batch 001, but just as enjoyable.

Cask conditioned at Blackfriars, Glasgow, as Paradox Edition #2 Grain Whisky. Black colour, ruby in the highlights. Very nice aroma of woodwork. Roasty, fiery and alcoholic flavour with strong woody notes. Notes of vanilla too.

Very dark rubyish amber colour with not much head. Aroma is big vanilla, some roast and chocolate. Also quite licoracy and shows some hints of whisky. Flavour is smooth licorace along with vanilla and some smooth roastiness. Good stuff.
