This amber-hued lager may be an Octoberfest style beer, but it's available to be enjoyed year round. A strong robust micro-brewed lager, using imported 2-row Pale malt and 2 distinct Munich specialty malts. Full bodied malt character is balanced with imported German Hallertau hops.

Golden amber color and very clear. The aroma is quite mild with just malt smells. The mouthfeel is thicker than I expected with flavors of smoke, coffee and lots of malts. This was a very enjoyable beer that makes me want to try other offerings from Sin City.

Accidently found this brew while wandering around the Planet Hollywood stores. The Oktoberfest brew was quite good. Las Vegas having much more loose open container laws than I have here in California was the biggest thing to get used to. The beer itself was quite good.

Being of a mind to sample the local quaffables, and armed with a BeerPal-Compass and -Vault, I set out to conquer Las Vegas by means of adding a Nevada-brewed beer to my passport. I weaved my way in and out of many casinos as I wondered up and down the strip in search of my liquid quest. One can find Bud Lite, Heineken, and Corona everywhere, but one may get to know Sin City quite well before sampling her namesake suds. I finally found a tap in one of those 24/7 delis that feature big pastrami sandwiches and rows of TVs tuned to various sporting events. The beer itself was worth the hunt, but mainly because it was more satisfying than the alternatives mentioned. Pours amber in color, nearly flat with merely a trace of foam. The lack of lace could be attributed to the plastic cup in which this beverage was served. Malty and rich in aroma, but a little thin in body and flavor. Feels smooth on the palate and finishes nice and easy, neither cloying nor astringent. Nice, middle-of-the-road amber, good example of the style, and a decent accompanyment to a gambler's midnight repast.
