Taps clear amber with a fine-bubbled pale buff head. Aroma features strong woody hop character plus fresh malt and apple undertones. Flavor delivers hoppy, fruity and malty notes, a pleasing chord of tastes. Mouthfeel offers decent body and form, lively fizz. Nothing poor about this one.

Growler! thanks Jen!! . . wooo! hoppy!! .. Pours a deep gold .. medium foam .. . the john denver experience .. . sap, tree murder, pinecone, and wood .. . a great brew!! .. . . I hope some animal never bores a hole in my head and lays its eggs in my brain, because later you might think you're having a good idea but it's just eggs hatching..

a bigger body than their regular ipa and black ipa...otherwise both of those beers are better. maybe a different hop profile, or maybe the hops in this beer had to battle the malt too much. good, but not great!

Tasted on tap at the 7th Annual Bistro Double IPA fest. This Imperial IPA pours a medium orange gold color, Small sized head. Aroma is grapefruit and pine. Medium bodied Imperial IPA. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are grapefruity and piney. Nice balance. Big double IPA with lots of hop flavors without being over the top with the bitterness. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Pours with a golden-orange body topped by a thick head with a good amount of lacing. The aroma is slightly sweet and citrusy, full of hops with a slight piney note and a touch of malt. Reminiscent of tea. The flavor is bitter and piney with a nice grapefruit note and a little malty sweetness. Medium to full bodied, smooth and a touch dry.
