2008 California State Fair, 1stPlace, Blue Ribbon Winner !! 2004 California State Fair, 2ndPlace, Red Ribbon Winner ! Our Pale Ale is brewed with amarillo, ahtanum and cascade hops. All three hops are used as the bittering, flavor, aroma and dry hop in this brew. It's citrusy, grapefruit character comes through in flying colors and is perfectly balanced by the caramel character of the specialty grains. 35 IBUs, 5.5% Alcohol

Comparitively speaking, if you were to throw this one up against some IPA's, it would beat them every day of the week and twice on Sundays. A piney nose, a dark copper color, clean mouthfeel gives way to a citrusy, hopped up flavor. VERY easy to drink. Definitely recommended.
