a drinkable brew, but definitely not in the 97th percentile for the style. nice maltiness (nutty?) to it, but it's pretty thin and otherwise boring. better than other CB beers, though.

Nice deep red colour with average head and retention. Not very much lacing. Little nose, what is there is of some dark malts. Dark malts at first in the taste, with a fairly bitter finish. The mouth was kinda thin.

An excellent "red" and quite possibly the best beer associated w/ the Carlsberg name. The aroma is quite nice for the style. The appearance, well it sure is red, even redder than Rickard's. A round body that comes w/ an easy drinkability that's not at all bitter making this a great beer.
