My second (and decidedly last) Fat Weasel beer I plain on purchasing from the semi-mysterious Steinhaus Brewing Company. While I was fairly happy with the Jumping Cow Amber, I was highly disappointed with the Fat Weasel Ale..., and I have little positive to say about Fat Weasel Porter.

Pours a little too foamy, with a weak head that quickly disappears into thin air, and leaves behind a rather dull looking semi-dark porter-like beer. Not much in the way of aroma, which is shame since it would have been a nice distraction from the completely lame flavor profile and way-too thin body. Reminds me of Japanese beers that try to call themselves "stouts", when they are anything but. This is at least top-fermented, but after that, I don't see too many other inklings that this is meant to be a porter.

Another beer that I feel was a waste of even a paltry $0.55.
