11.2 oz bottle. Golden color with lots of chunks of sediment. Bright white head. Aroma has a sharp acidic component along with sweet malt and wheat. Flavor starts off with a lemon acidity then quickly turns sweet with malt and wheat. Very nice smooth flavor. The wife loves it too. I also get some light spice flavors and yeast. Very tasty and refreshing brew.

330 ml capped bottle, bought at the brewery. Poured in the original Abbaye des Rocs stemmed glass an unfiltered and almost opaque amber-orange coloured Abbey Tripel with a three fingers light beige and soapy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Good lacing. A lot of floating sediments. The aroma is yeast, solid sweety malts, earthy hops, aciditic fruits, citrus and an unpleasant-aggresive sourish feeling. The flavour is sweety malts, intense sourish-aciditic fruits, grainy apples, citrus and earthy hops. The mouthfeel is crispy, fulled, sparkling and bitter. The mouthfeel is quite watery. This full bodied A T has a dry hoppy bitter finish. An unexpected and unlikely nose makes this brew not so easy drinkable.

Foggy dark yellow with a big lively white foam. sweet yeasty aroma of nectarines, candisugar with dry orangey undertone. Very yeasty flavour of white bread, oranges and manbo. Dense mouthfeel. Finishes rather dry of yeast and hops.

01.10.05 11.2oz bottle thanks to matta. Pours a thickly clouded golden with big rocky head. Aromas are very spicey, herbal, ginger, rotten banana. Flavors in line with aromas: starting lightly herbal, mint, old fruit. Nice spicey finish with lots of yeast, apricot, and nice doughy notes to end. Good stuff, thanks Matt!

Bottled. Amber/golden colour, mediumsized white foamy head. Aroma of fruit, barnyard and rubber. Also some spices. Flavour sweet hoppy with some rubbery notes. Some honeyish notes also. Refreshing,

This beer pours an ambery color with visible suspended yeasts, a very small white head and definite lacing throughout the course of consumption. Also may I add this bubbled all over my counter upon uncapping. The aroma is floral, yeasty, grainy and bananaish. The flavor is medium to full bodied with light floral notes, citrus, grapefruit, wood, and tons and tons of bready grainyness. It felt like a liquid version of Hawaiian bread. Heavy malts, dry..dry...dry finish..heavy cottonmouth here with pepper in the finish. Have a bottle of water handy after this beer is gone! Heavy carbonation usage, yet surprisingly silky on the tongue. Its different, I’ll give it that. A bit of a rough finish, dry and monotonous after a while. Perhaps also a hint of lemon, but its very subdued.

A dark deep orange wth lots of carbonation. A huge white head that is typical for the style. A funky barnyard and lemon aroma. Also hints of the spice. The taste is a dry toast with some light tangerines. Very light spice for a tripel. Just a hint of nutmeg. A light body. Still, this is very drinkable and smooth.

very cloudy dark orange colour with a giant creamy head, estery and yeasty nose, full-bodied, solid bitterness, the finish is bready and slightly dry with a long bitterness - beautiful !

Bottle: Poured a hazy blonde color ale with a huge head with great retention. Aroma is a mix of wheat with some sweetness also quite apparent. Taste is very sweet at first and wheat can also be noticed afterward. There seems to be some spices even though the label mentioned that no spices were used during brewing, Not the best tripel I had the chance of drinking but still a pretty good example of the style.
