#4762 Double Trouble Hops and Robbers Sucker Punch IPA from Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Score: 3.5 | Aroma 7 | Appearance 7 | Mouthfeel 7 | Flavor 7 | Overall 7 |
Pours a clean golden colour with a frothy white cap, good stay and some wavy lacing. Cilantro nose with other grasses. Some oranges and caramel malts in the background. The taste is quite sour with some grape notes. When this dies down, some light yeast is left on the tongue. An interesting Sour-IPA.

#4761 Whiprsnapr Atomic Orange IPA from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
Score: 3.7 | Aroma 8 | Appearance 7 | Mouthfeel 8 | Flavor 7 | Overall 7 |
Pours a clear darker amber colour with a big warm-beige head, frothy, bubbly with good retention and some creamy bits of lacing. Big hoppy nose of oranges, with lots of its peel. All of this over loads of caramel malts in the base. The mouthfeel is smooth, going down nicely with just enough dryness in the finish. Does get stronger as you go, with some good bitterness right before the end. Nice cereal grain malts that are darker, with the caramel and citrus zest. Nicely balanced between the citrus hoppiness and the malty caramel.

#4760 Sweetwater IPA from Atlanta, GA, United States
Score: 3.6 | Aroma 8 | Appearance 8 | Mouthfeel 6 | Flavor 7 | Overall 7 |
First from this brewery, pouring a clean amber colour with a big off-white, warm cap, good retention and creamy-foamy lacing. Sweet nose at first, but the grassiness comes out with time. So, hoppy over the caramel malt base. Kind of berry notes at first pour. The taste is mildly hoppy, but nothing too crazy. Somewhat dry, but again - not too the max. The base is almost more cereal grains. Not a bad IPA, but more old school, without being a hopbomb.

#4759 Dominion City / Indie Alehouse Time's Not Waiting from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
Score: 3.8 | Aroma 8 | Appearance 8 | Mouthfeel 7 | Flavor 7 | Overall 8 |
Pours a very light yellow colour with a white cap, average retention and some spotted foam lacing. Beautiful Saison aromas with the grassy hops, citrus notes, Belgian Ale yeast and then, the Brett earthiness mixed in there. The taste shows some light sourness, earth again with a mild base of citrus and grains. Gets hazy at second pour. This is quite a nice lower alcohol brew, that blends the light Saison and Brett. Going down very, very well.

#4758 Flying Monkeys Psycho Thrill Seekers from Barrie, Ontario, Canada
Score: 3.6 | Aroma 8 | Appearance 7 | Mouthfeel 7 | Flavor 7 | Overall 7 |
Can that pours a hazy golden-orange colour with a big frothy warmish-coloured head, good retention and left is some creamy thin lacing. Big grassy, deep green aromas over the other hops that give a citrus base. The taste is quite bitter with some other bite I cannot put my tongue on. Green leaves taste with some solid dryness. Some sweetness does come out of this eventually to help out things. Still, not my kind of Imperial IPA, but well done for those who like these hops together.

#4757 Spark Beer Leisure Hazy IPA from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
Score: 3.8 | Aroma 8 | Appearance 8 | Mouthfeel 7 | Flavor 8 | Overall 7 |
Bottle from the brewery. Pours a hazy golden-orange colour with a warm creamy head, with some bubbles, good retention and creamy lacing. Aromas are a little more grassy than citrusy, like other North East-style IPAs. There is a sweet berry nose that do come and balance this, and hint of cilantro. The taste shows even more the grassiness over the juiciness. Bitter hops, but not so dry, so makes it easier to drink. Seems like a mix of North East with some West Coast action.

#4756 Flora Hall Simcoe-Sultana DDH IPA from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
Score: 4 | Aroma 8 | Appearance 8 | Mouthfeel 8 | Flavor 8 | Overall 8 |
Love these DDH IPAs, so supporting my local drinking hole while the pandemic with this new one is a win-win. Cloudy golden-beige with an amber hue. Beautiful creamy whitish head, good stay and a bunch of creamy-foamy streaks. Very nice citrus aromas with some mild grass and hints of wild berries. Juicy mouthfeel with flavours of grapefruits, oranges, with some of their zest. The finish has some dryness to it. Another one of their Double Dry-hopped IPAs which I am a fan of.

#4755 Wellington Pleasant Island Hazy Pale Ale from Guelph, Ontario, Canada
Score: 3.6 | Aroma 8 | Appearance 7 | Mouthfeel 7 | Flavor 7 | Overall 7 |
Part of their 4-pack Welly Volume Eight. Pours a hazy light golden-yellow colour with a big frothy white cap, good retention and loads of foamy-creamy lacing. Decent fresh hops giving citrus notes and mild grass. Hints of other fruitiness, almost like berries. The taste is mild with those hops. Again, light citrus and grassiness. The mouthfeel is fairly light, but still has some guts to it. Lightly dry finish. This is a nice lighter juicy Pale Ale that mixes well the citrus notes, grassy hops and sweeter yeast.

#4754 Small Pony Barrel Works They Go Up! from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
Score: 3.7 | Aroma 8 | Appearance 6 | Mouthfeel 8 | Flavor 7 | Overall 8 |
2020 edition with 5.4% ABV. Pours an amber colour with a pinkish hue. The head fizzes away quickly, leaving no lacing, but beautiful carbonation to look at. In this one, the cherries really stand out over the sour base. The sourness in the taste is quite less as well, compared to most other brews of this brewer. The cherry flavours are well blended with the sour beer, so not too sweet, not too sour. I can see why this one won awards.

#4753 Dominion City Boxing Hare Ruby Mild from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
Score: 3.6 | Aroma 7 | Appearance 7 | Mouthfeel 7 | Flavor 7 | Overall 8 |
355ml can from brewery that now shows 3% ABV .Pours a clean dark amber colour with a light beige frothy cap that has an average stay and some decent foamy lacing. Aromas of a nut brown ale with the caramel, fruity malts and some nuttiness. The taste has these things with all of these malts and roasted ones as well, giving some molasses notes. Hard to say this has this low alcohol content, as it shows a lot for a mild ale. Well done.
