#4552 Boldwin Brassin Ephémère IPA Noire from Boucherville, Quebec, Canada
Score: 3.8 | Aroma 8 | Appearance 8 | Mouthfeel 8 | Flavor 7 | Overall 7 |
Can from Broue Ha Ha that pours a dark brown colour with copper highlights, a big frothy light-beige head, very good stay and lacing of thick creaminess. Roasted malt nose with some hints of dark fruits and fresh grassy hops. The taste shows a nice balance between the burnt malts and the hops. A milder Black IPA than most I have had, but one that has higher drinkability. Still a very nice dryness in the finish. Bravo!

#4551 Ommegang Game of Thrones - For the Throne from Cooperstown, NY, United States
Score: 3.8 | Aroma 8 | Appearance 8 | Mouthfeel 7 | Flavor 8 | Overall 7 |
750ml bottle that pours a clean golden colour with a light amber touch. The carbonation is lively and does help the white cap to stay a very long time. Frothy, and almost creamy by times. Foamy lacing is left. Alcohol nose with some sweetness from the malts, Belgian Ale yeast and grassy hops. The taste shows the Belgian Ale yeast with some nice fruitiness from the malts. Some banana notes with hints of pears. Seems like genuine Belgian Strong Ale. Just a tad too sweet or rich to have a lot of, but well-brewed.

#4550 Bière Vagabond Vanlife from Quebec, Canada
Score: 3.5 | Aroma 8 | Appearance 8 | Mouthfeel 6 | Flavor 6 | Overall 7 |
Pours a slightly unfiltered golden colour with a big soapy warm cap, very nice retention and some thick foamy patches. Cereal grain aromas with some sweetness, fruitiness and yeast. Even some apple notes. The taste is thankfully sweet. A nice blend of malts, cereal notes and hops in the finish. A light dry finish with not too much bitterness. A milder Pale Ale that still good in the malt area.

#4549 Les 2 Frères Hickson New England IPA from Terrebonne, Quebec, Canada
Score: 3.8 | Aroma 7 | Appearance 8 | Mouthfeel 8 | Flavor 7 | Overall 8 |
Can that pours an unfiltered, hazy light-golden colour with a big white cap, good stay and full lacing. Aromas of citrus zest over mild grass. The taste has the lemon peel, decent yeast and light hops in the finish. A nice above-average dry mouthfeel. Not as fruity as expected, but a fairly good IPA.

#4548 Farnham Ale & Lager 62 West Coast IPA from Farnham, Quebec, Canada
Score: 3.6 | Aroma 7 | Appearance 7 | Mouthfeel 7 | Flavor 8 | Overall 7 |
Pours a light hazy golden colour with a tad amber hue. The head is big, white, with good retention and full sticky lacing. Smells like pineapple juice with its sweetness. The taste is a mix of this fruit and mild grassy hops. Not a bad juicy IPA. More like East Coast than West Coast though. Content dyslexia.

#4547 Collective Arts Collective Project: IPA No. 11 from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada
Score: 3.5 | Aroma 8 | Appearance 7 | Mouthfeel 6 | Flavor 7 | Overall 7 |
Hazy golden colour with an orange hue. Off-white soapy head, good stay and a foamy ring is left. Grassy green hop aromas balanced with lots of fruitiness and sweetness, including pineapples and other tropical fruits. The taste is also blended with some grassiness and the fruits. The lactose is mild in there. Reminds me of Brasserie du Bas-Canada milkshake IPAs. Just not as good.

#4546 Boréale 13e Round from Blainville, Quebec, Canada
Score: 3.5 | Aroma 8 | Appearance 7 | Mouthfeel 7 | Flavor 6 | Overall 7 |
Can that pours a clean golden colour with a big warm, frothy cap, very nice retention and creamy lacing. Alcohol in nose with the hops that gives grassiness and tropical fruit notes. The alcohol is also felt in the mouth. Not as in warming, but just high alcohol taste. Thankfully, the fruitiness blends things a little, with some pineapples flavours. Gets hazy at last pour and does help balance things with the alcohol. In the nose. Still not sure about the Simcoe. Seems a little earthy in the mouth.

#4545 Omnipollo Aniara from Stockholm, Sweden
Score: 3.1 | Aroma 7 | Appearance 6 | Mouthfeel 6 | Flavor 6 | Overall 6 |
Can that pours a hazy light red colour with a pinkish soapy head, average retention and minimal lacing. Fruity aromas of raspberries well-blended with the lemon sourness. The taste is way less fruity. Not much of the raspberry notes. Some lemon zest with more tart than fruitiness. After the smell, was expecting something quite nice and fruity. More of a pale ale with just a tad of the berries in the aftertaste. Not so much out of this world.

#4544 Whitewater Brewing Wild Bog Cranberry Sour from Foresters Falls, Ontario, Canada
Score: 2.3 | Aroma 5 | Appearance 5 | Mouthfeel 5 | Flavor 4 | Overall 4 |
Hazy, light golden colour with a fizzy white head that dissipates quickly leaving a small ring around the collar. The lactobacillus sour nose shows, but the cranberry is a little light in here. Well, it seems like it is even lighter in the taste. There is this nuttiness instead with the yeast. Light tartiness. Really not my thing. If more cranberries where in there, should be better.

#4543 Goodlot Farmstead Brewing Farmstead Ale from Caledon, Ontario, Canada
Score: 2.7 | Aroma 5 | Appearance 7 | Mouthfeel 6 | Flavor 4 | Overall 5 |
Slightly unfiltered golden-amber colour with a warm frothy head, decent stay and small spots of soapy lacing. Weird nose with the mix of grassiness from whatever hops they used in here, and the orange notes. Hints of wet hay. The taste is even weirder. Quite watery for a 6.2% ABV. Again, the combo of grassy hops and oranges is not well-blended. Yeah, not sure what is going on here.
