#221 Harviestoun Old Engine Oil from Dollar, Clackmannan, United Kingdom
Score: 4.1 | Aroma 9 | Appearance 8 | Mouthfeel 8 | Flavor 8 | Overall 8 |
It pours extremely black. Full bodied and complex flavors. A little bit of a bitter finish with coffee tastes present. Solid choice any day of the week.

Great aroma. It poured very dark like old motor oil in my VW rabbit. You could definitely taste a hint of chocolate. Alcohol not overpowering at all.

#219 Unibroue 10 from Chambly, Quebec, Canada
Score: 4.2 | Aroma 9 | Appearance 8 | Mouthfeel 8 | Flavor 9 | Overall 8 |
Another great beer from this brewery. Pours a light orange color with thick head. Very complex flavor and for a beer that's 10% abv, the alcohol isn't very noticeable at all.

Somewhat disappointing, only because I've come to expect great things from this brewery every time. A solid mix of flavors, but nothing stands out too much.

Pretty much exactly what you'd expect from a mass produced south american beer. Not even worth writing a decent review.

Very mediocre beer. Dull and flavorless. Waste of two bucks.

Very dry and generally flavorless beer. Kind of what I expected though.

To be honest, I expected this to taste like jarred rat piss, but it wasn't half bad. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, but it's as good or better than most north american macros.

Was looking forward to trying a beer from Iceland, but this was just an average run of the mill beer. Nothing special at all, which is kinda what I suspected.

#212 Efes Pilsener from Istanbul, Turkey

Imagine it's closing time at a bar. All the empties are collected and put in a box. That box goes outside and sits for 3 days in the hot Turkey sun. After three days a guy comes and pours the bottoms from each beer into one big jug. Then shake that jug up and have 19 babies vomit in it. Let it sit in the sun some more and then bottle the finished product. Voila! You have Efes.
