#3046 Flat Tail Brewing from Corvallis, OR, United States
Score: 2.9 | Atmosphere 5 | Selection 5 | Value 6 | Service 7 | Overall 6 |
Flat Tail makes average tasting beer for the most part but the brewery itself was a bit of a disappointment. Big bro/college kid hangout, ground zero for Beaver fans and terrible bar food. With Block 15 a few minute walk away, you'd be a fool not to spend all of your time there. Skip Flat Tail.

#3045 Steelhead Brewing Company (Distributed as McKenzie Brewing Co.) from Eugene, OR, United States
Score: 2.7 | Atmosphere 5 | Selection 5 | Value 5 | Service 6 | Overall 6 |
As far as breweries in Eugene or even Oregon go, this is definitely one of the more underwhelming beer spots on the map. Went here late at night with Pfoxyjohn and I'm pretty sure we were the only ones in the brewery. Beer was shotty, bartender was nice but lonely. I will definitely be ok never going here ever again.

#3044 Astoria Brewing Company from Astoria, OR, United States
Score: 3.1 | Atmosphere 7 | Selection 5 | Value 6 | Service 7 | Overall 6 |
Another great place in Astoria to catch a good brew. Not my favorite beers, not an exciting selection but the scenery is beautisimo and the staff is friendly. Ate some lunch, some chowda and quaffed a Porter. Overlooking the Pacific OCean on a sunny day. Doesn't get much better than that.

#3043 Fort George Brewery & Public House from Astoria, OR, United States
Score: 4.2 | Atmosphere 9 | Selection 6 | Value 9 | Service 10 | Overall 8 |
Stopped in to visit these bros and gals a couple weeks ago. They have some seriously yeasty and bitterly hopped brews. But the facility is beautiful and the people who work here are absolutely fantastic. It's a beautiful setting and the Ft. George folks are gems. But there is some QC stuff that needs to be checked out. Anywho, I will visit again. Great place for a brew alongside the sea.

#3042 Portland U-Brew & Pub from Portland, OR, United States
Score: 3.6 | Atmosphere 6 | Selection 7 | Value 7 | Service 8 | Overall 8 |
Great homebrew shop in SE with super friendly service. They also have a brewpub attached where they feature their own house brewed beer. However, it is really terrible. No joke. Even skimming over the recipes, you wonder how they possibly came up with half that shit. Again, these guys are really awesome, very helpful and the selection of supplies is superb. So if you're a beginner or know what you want, you should be set in checking out the store. Just don't drink the beer at the pub.

#3041 Philadelphias Steaks & Hoagies from Portland, OR, United States
Score: 2.4 | Atmosphere 4 | Selection 4 | Value 6 | Service 6 | Overall 4 |
One of the last brewpubs I had yet to visit in Portland. Sunday was the day for that. It was pretty much a big dump. The 95 cent bloody mary advertisement on the door was a dead give away. Inside, the place was dingy, old looking- everybody sucking on $1 Bloody Marys. I had 3 samples of beer while I was there. Everything tasted off with the exception of the Flanders Red that they had- It was actually decent. Very surprised by this. I would probably put this at 51/51 breweries to visit while in Portlandia.

#3040 Stickmen Brewery & Skewery from Lake Oswego, OR, United States
Score: 3.8 | Atmosphere 8 | Selection 6 | Value 8 | Service 8 | Overall 8 |
This place has been a restaurant since the summer and has been brewing experimental beers for just as long. I tried one of their last test beers before they started brewing on their new 7 bbl system. The Saison had a nice body, very refreshing and was simple. I ate lunch there which was pretty good and the owner and I chatted it up a while about the industry, beer and random shit. Really nice place. These guys have a lot of good things ahead of them.

#3039 Rattlesnake Mountain Brewing Company from Richland, WA, United States
Score: 3.1 | Atmosphere 6 | Selection 6 | Value 7 | Service 6 | Overall 6 |
Another brewery I visited twice during Christmas weekend while in the Tri-Cities. The first time around I had a strong ale and an oatmeal stout that were alright. The second day I had a super hoppy IPA that was a little too much and a Hefeweizen that was completely flat. The atmosphere is sports bar-ish. Again, $2.50 pints here, which seems to be the theme in the Tri-Cities beer scene. I wouldn't see any reason to stop here again unless I'm hanging out with my uncle and he's jonesing to get out.

#3038 Ice Harbor Brewing Company from Pasco, WA, United States
Score: 3.2 | Atmosphere 6 | Selection 6 | Value 8 | Service 6 | Overall 6 |
Checked this place out during Christmas with my wife and later my uncle. Towny brewery/bar with not the greatest beer on tap. Super malty IPAs, unbalanced with way too much hops but you can't go wrong with $2.50/pint prices. Anyway, the vibe was good. Servers were friendly and it was nice escaping Portland for the weekend.

#3037 Harvester Brewing from Portland, OR, United States
Score: 4.7 | Atmosphere 8 | Selection 9 | Value 10 | Service 10 | Overall 10 |
I'm a big fan of Harvester. These guys are making fantastic beer for people with gluten intolerance or sensitivities. And the variety the pump out is amazing. Their IPA is fantastic and could stand against most IPAs in town. They open up for tastings and dock sales on Thursday afternoons, and the rest of the time they are simply production. If you know someone who has celiacs or is sensitive to gluten, hook them up with HArvester. Fantastic brew.
