I wrote the description above. If higher powers can't use it up there, please move it down here.
It has recently gone through some changes so here is my review of it. A beer bar that has decided to go upscale and is now Green Bay's best selection of craft beers. It has 12 taps, none with bmc, one devoted to sours. When you ask for the menu they give you a full page of beers and you notice that there's a section called "Rather Not" - this is the bmcs. Other than that about 50 beers including ipas, stouts, sours, belgians and others. They also hand you the on tap list with long descriptions of each. If you ask for it they will hand you the cellaring menu of about 12 heavy hard to get beers from $14-$26 a bottle. The cellaring list includes brands such as Mikkeller Beer Geek Brunch Weasel, New Belgium Lips of Faith Cocoa Molé, Bierre de Mars, Val du Grand Cru,and Alaskan Smoked Porter. If you ask for a food menu they point to 5 items on the wall from nachos, to cheezy garlic bread to three kinds of local brand, Fire Hydrant Pizza. Pizzas are half off m-f during happy hour. The staff is knowledgeable of all the craft beers and is not snooty about them. In fact, the bartender I spoke to said she had recently visited Central Waters Brewery and it had turned her whole outlook on beer around. They serve the beers in the appropriate glasses and have a professional glasses rinser that the use before serving each glass. One of the owners works at House of Homebrew, brewing supply. Happy hour all beers are half off, including cellared beer. There's also pool, live music, and people still buying bmc.
