Strong aroma is mainly hoppy with a hint of candy caramel and a strong tang of - what? Citrus? Wood? It pours a clear, slightly reddish amber with a fairly thick pale yellowish tan head. Hoppy flavor has slightly sweet caramel, oaken and citrus tones and a weird hint of something I can't quite describe - a truly unique flavor. Texture is fairly smooth and somewhat fizzy; finish is slightly tingly and woody and doesn't last. Not too shabby.

I was definitely expecting more from this, as well as all of us I'm sure. After trying Sierra's Wet/Fresh Hop Ales, figured this would be more like that....versus something lager-ish. Kinda like a boston lager with some "fresh hops" added in. A decent beer, just not worth the coin. I liked their Oyster Stout, and want to try the 100-barrell series ESB....but this is probably one to stay away from.

Hmmmmmmmm. Pours a clear dark copper with a decent head. Aroma is a bit stinky. Mouthfeel has a tinny bite. Flavor is....nothing to write home about.

Aroma of caramel malts, and some grassy hops. An orange amber body, the head disappeared quickly, and didnt leave much head. Flavor was dominated by the caramel malts with the hops making a brief, subtle showing. Overall i was a little disappointed, not that its a bad beer but what i am saying is its named harvest wet hop, so wheres the hops?

Tasted at the February Northern California Beer Tasting. This American Pale Ale pours a medium amber color from a 22oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is caramel and malt, earthy hops and some bubble gum. A medium bodied American Pale Ale. The malts are caramel and sweet. The hops are earthy and a touch piney. Nice balance. Decent carbonation. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

NorCal Feb '08 - There were a few things going on with this beer, none of which made me think this was a must have kind of beer. An aroma of light stale hope, grass and caramel with an underlying bubblegum character I don't enjoy. Appearance was clear, amber in color with a medium sized head. Flavors were caramel, earthy hops, and light grapefruit. Drinkable, yes. In search of, no.
