This medium bodied amber lager elegantly combines a touch of malty sweetness with a pleasingly subtle aromatic hop character. Stoudt's Oktoberfest is brewed from the finest imported ingredients in the style of the original German Oktoberfest celebrations beers.

"This was very smooth tasting as well as a little on the sweet side-a very satisfying and enjoyable taste. There was a nice hint of hops in the aroma and also somewhat nutty. The appearance was a dull orange coloring with a head that disappated very quickly."

"Oh yea, it is the season for Oktoberfest brews and I am looking forward to this representation of the style by this brewery. The aroma is malty and biscuity with some sweetness as well as some mustiness. The appearance is a bronze-orange in color when held to the light with a nice foamy head on top that is very carbonated and has quality head retention (other beerpals have commented on the head because there is none and it diminished quickly; maybe this issue was addressed this year around but anyway) and is an off-white in color and remains becoming rocky while it is consumed. The mouthfeel is light-bodied which is surprising to me with some quality malty complexity as well as some caramelly balance with a palate that is a bit thin. The flavor is malty, sweet, caramelly, musty, as well as spicy to some extent with an aftertaste that is malty with some breadiness and a finish that is a bit thin and not as filling as it should be. Overall, not a bad representation of the style but I have had much better; I will even venture to say Sam Adams' variation of this style is a bit better...decent brew here. "

"Not a bad Okfest interpretation. Clean malt flavors and aromas, with a nice amber hue and a white head that melts quickly. Sweet on the buds, but not as bold as some Okfest brews. Not my favorite, but not bad either. "

"Clear medium brown body with an ok head. The aroma has a cream corn aspect over the caramelly malts. Crisp and pretty easy drinking, but really could be better."
