"Bottle pour is hazy orange with very nice carbonation, head, and lacing. Thick rings of lace follow the beer towards the bottom of the glass. The aroma is grassy and fresh with an almost pinesol like aroma. Mouthfeel is thick and creamy with a the noted burst of carbonation. The taste is great, very hoppy up front with pinecone and grapefruit notes that are balanced nicely with earthy, bready malts. Drinkability is insanely high. This is probably the best session brew there is. This is a fantastic IPA that I think is a tad overrated (don't shoot me). I think there are better hoppy IPA's out there, but nothing is more balanced and nothing has higher drinkability."

"What a hoppy IPA! Distinct hoppiness and a rich, golden amber characterize this stunning example of the type. Slight, foamy head does not distract. Definitely raises the bar on IPAs."

"as far as the regular (ie-not imperial) IPAs go, this one is right up there with Marin as the best. Hoppier (slightly) than Marin's, with a slightly thinner but slicker mouthfeel. Aroma is perfect, adn it's cheaper than Marin, which only comes in 22's."

"Pours out golden with a white head. Strong hops and pine smell. Pretty light mouthfeel with a smooth taste that finishes with a good amount of hops bitterness. Great IPA."

"Pours a nice hazy golden amber with a thick, buttery, fine-bubbled head. Aroma is hoppy to the point of being piny. Flavor is rich and seriously hoppy, pleasantly bitter and evergreenish with just a touch of caramel sweetness. Finish is edgy and lively. A hop lover's delight."
