Stronger than the regular Arrogant Bastard and more tasteful with a slight kick!

"Aroma is fairly hoppy and has a strong fruity overtone. It pours a deep coppery reddish brown with a fairly thick off-white head. Flavor - WOOOOO! One sip of this beer, and you will know what it is like to have an angry puma in your mouth. It is FIERCE - not for the faint of heart! Bitterness is strong, but not unpleasant. Taste is mainly hoppy with some malty and sweet tones and hints of Coca-Cola and caramel. Texture is satisfyingly smooth, and aftertaste is bitter yet with a sweet fruity undertone. Like no other beer I have ever tried."

"Bottle pour is dark red with a sticky white head. The aroma is of alcohol and the mouthfeel is creamy and acidic. The taste is fantastically bitter, with a good bit of alcohol burn. This is not for the faint of heart. Arrogant bastard may be my favorite beer. This is a great one as well, certainly deserving of the high praise. I'd like to try it on draft and aged. I think some age will take the rough edge off of this."

"I'm a huge Stone fan, not a big fan of Arrogant Bastard, so I didn't know what to expect from this one. Stronger, but smoother, than it's little brother, and significantly better. Big hops and malt all around. Quite hoppy/bitter for a barleywine. Still a little harsh, but better."

"Pours out a darkish opaque brown with a small tan head that lingers a bit. Very big smell and bigger taste to this beer. Starts out malty with a pretty hoppy finish."

"First of all I generally don't like barleywine style beers but Stone has a real winner here. I will definitely add a few of these to the collection. One bottle is enough to convince most people this is a great one. Are you worthy?"
