This is a traditional oatmeal stout. Expect this, our darkest beer, to have a pleasant , full flavor and a smooth profile that may include coffee, chocolate and caramel notes. Bitterness is moderate and rounds out beautifully in the finish.

"Pours a deep dark brown body with hints of gold colour. Head is full, brown and sweet. Aroma is very pleasent- oatmeal cookies, cinnamon, toffee and chocolate. Taste is relatively smooth and creamy with a sweet milk chocolate finish."

"Nice looking dark brown body with a hidden reddish-brown hue. The head is thin, brown and creamy with light lacing. The nose is roasted malt and mild chocolate. A full-bodied beer with a creamy texture. Flavors are well balanced and assertive; primarily roasted chocolate malts with the mellowed oats. It has a full, smooth but slightly chalky finish. This is a good, solid version of the Oatmeal Stout style."
