A traditional Bock with a strong malt flavor and a big & chewy malt profile. Hop aroma and flavor is low to moderate.

"Dark amber in color with a thin but persistent tan head. Aroma is sweet and assertive; hints of fruit and toffee. Mouthfeel is full and smooth. Full-bodied and rich with complex, sweet, powerful malt flavors. Finish is long, smooth and warm. The brewer says this is a traditional Bock, but that seems to shortchange this brew; it has all the characteristics of a fine German-style Doppelbock."
