"This brew was rated a on a scale of lagers. It is just slightly above average. The head was white and the color was golden. the mouthfeel was lacking refreshness. The flavor had a little more substanance than most lagers that I have had. although it still had the metalic wheat flavor. Overall I would have it again."

"Another Austrian brew that was recommended to me. Pouring it, I could see very little difference between this and the Pils. The aroma and flavour of the lager is weaker than the Pils. The crispness on the tongue is lacking as well. An average lager though."

"Making it a lager night and this is the first one lined up. I liked their Pilsener so there wasn't too much hesitation on buying one of these. Nice airy euro-lager, straightforward and quenching. Aroma is faint but has a grassy/grainy scent. Rich golden pour with heavy carbonation and a thick bright white head, mild lacing. Light and crisp on the palate, sweet with a slight sticky finish. Flavor has a nice balance of malt and hops. Lightly tart apples and fresh grass come to mind. Mild spiciness. Drinkable and welcomed on this wonderfully warm day."

"This beer came to me via a care package from my good friends in Wein (Vienna). I think it is a great Austrian beer but in the scheme of world beers it isn't so great but can be seen like Bittburger is to Germany as Stiegl is to Austria: just a average beer of that country that is held in lesser regard to local beers of that country. The Aroma wasn't anything special, mainly hoppy and some wheat. The appearance is golden, which is no surprise since it is a Goldbrau, while the head dissapears quickly. The mouthfeel, to me, was very lacking and swished somewhat like a MGD and flavor was hoppy but not in an exciting way more of a Czech pilsner type that was lacking. Overall I'd say it is an average Austrian Beer and that there are a lot better Austrian beers but it is an exprience. I'd prefer more alcohol content. "

"This really is quite bad. Comes in a big old style can but it is pretty terrrible. Light yellow colour. Very bitter on the attack with lots of carbination and an even more bitter aftertaste. I hope maybe this one is skunked or something. Awful"
