Beer it to Belgium as wine if to France. From this 'land of beer' comes Stella Artois, the most acclaimed of Belgian beers. Stella is Latin for star - a symbol of outstanding quality and taste that's been perfected by the Artois master brewers since 1366

"Pours out a very light yellow with a thick white head that goes away very quickly. No lacing. Slight skunk to the aroma and aftertaste, but has an otherwise very crisp and clean taste with a lightly hopped finish."

"Presentation: It was poured from green 11.2oz. bottle into a tulip glass that is similar in size and shape of a signature Stella Artois glass.
Appearance: It has a nice light golden color with very good clarity and a good amount of visible champaign like carbonation. On top it forms a big fluffy head that slowly settles and leaves very little to no lace.
Smell: The aroma has a delicate floral and grassy nose.
Taste/Mouth feel: It has a delicate flavor as well as its aroma. There is a mild sweetness that is balanced by light floral, almost fruity and mildly bitter hops. This mild flavor can become skunked very easily so look for as fresh a sample as possible. Its body is light and the finish is crisp and dry. The texture is slightly slick and thin with lively carbonation that makes it very easy to drink.
Notes: A good fresh Stella well have a good delicate and somewhat dry flavor that pairs well with food in place of dry white wine.

"A very nice brew. Aroma is very pleasant , has the biggest foam head on any beer I have ever had, taste and texture is very smooth and pleasant. You will notice a taste difference between the tap and the bottles options, I like both of them. Love the glasses they serve them in on tap. Will Have Again. "

"This is one of the most over-priced, watered-down, funky tasting beers that I can ever recall having. After all the hype from people I know surrounding this beer, I tried it. It was aweful, weak head, skunky aftertaste - never again."

"Since this may be the "new" Bud after the InBev deal, I gave this a try both from a bottle and on draft during a recent trip. The beer reminds me a bit of Heineken with a noticable, but not overwhelming hop note. Light golden color with a somewhat fleeting head and some lacing. Overall very refreshing but still a little pricy for what you get. "
