"What more can I say about this family of maladjusted beers that hasn't already been said. This is a darker beer than their pale piss yellow incarnations. Still a non-descript aroma, and a taste that would stop an ogre in it's tracks."

"I purchased this with little to no respect for steelhead beers that I have drank in the past... this beer is no exception... it considers itself a lager but it tastes like a bag of over fingerd vaginas... I love canadian beer but this one.. well lets just say I would rather of sipped on a OE.. at least you get drunker"

"argh... where to begin... well how bout it comes in a 710ml can... never thought i would see that... but here i am... holding this huge can of grade A bullpoop! the beer pours a dark brown color with a off white head that vanishes quickly. leaves 0 lace! :| the aroma is mainly malt with a slight sugar/sweet smell. the taste is weird... its like buttery rum! leaves a oily mouthfeel is the swill goes down the throat... not that great of a brew... infact down right despicable... but yet... it is not sink worthy... although its crap, it is drinkable."

"Tiverton looks like the quality side of Steelback Brewery. Starts off bad with the plastic bottles and their bad wrapping label job. The 24 pack comes with a little booklet explaining why plastic is better over glass. Pours a dark brown colour with red highlights. The head is small and has little retention. Looks like flat cola really. The nose is very sweet with notes of chemicals. Water mouthfeel and flat. Syrup taste thoughout with some light roast. Prefered the Tiverton honey one, just a tad more. These are made to be dranked from the bottle. Cheers goes to the White Sox tonight !"

"Plastic 355ml "pop bottle". Poured a clear brown but same famous Douglas point disappering head and fizzy carbonation...excessively sweet smell but with some musty grains. Watery mouth feel with excssively sweet dextrin tastes, no hops detectable to balance, finish is rough with a burnt malt-licorice taste and alcohol. The best from this Brewer but still not palatable. I had to wash my mouth out with a couple bottles of Anchor IPA to get that funky burnt corn syrup taste off my tongue. Maybe the corn malt was roasted in the douglas point reactor?"
