"2006 edition, with best before date written on back label, 02/01/08. Just like their 3 Monts, metal tab around cork that is hard to take off and crazy big head. A tad on the yellow side, very creamy with intense retention and superb thick lacing all around. The brew itself is golden-orange and carbonation is very active. Yeasty nose with spices, apples, alcohol and rusted water. Slight burn, but actually quite pleasant mouthfeel. Mild apples and spices again, not too strong and mixed in with other refreshing fruits. Once you can get close to the end of the bottle, you can finally shake it slowly and the "lie" clouds up the brew. Pretty good, but still prefer the Unibroue's on lees beers."

"Pours with an orangish-gold body topped by a thick head with a good amount of lacing. It’s sweet, buttery and toffeeish with a slight grassy note. Medium bodied, smooth and slightly warming."
