"Alright, this is a 6.0% ABV flavored malt liquor. Way too sweet is my first impression. Easily two extra cups of sugar too many in this 22 fl. oz. bottle. The smell reminds me of Fruit Punch Kool-Aid, which isn't a bad thing. Can't taste any alcohol and barely any malt flavor. I drank 48 ounces of St. Ides high gravy malt liquor before I cracked this, and believe it or not this 6.0 is keeping my buzz going. If it didn't keep my buzz going, fuck this shit. Because it DOES keep my buzz and it says St. Ides on the label, 7/10. "

"Ah, St. Ides Special Brew Mixed Fruit. At first glance it looks more like a wine cooler or mikes hard/smirnoff ice type beverage. Take one sip and you'll realize that it's not. Looks almost like purple Kool Aid, maybe a little darker. Smells nice and fruity, a little syrupy going down in my opinion. Tastes like fruit punch or mixed berry juice. A funky aftertaste does sometimes linger in my mouth after drinking it. Too sugary for my tastes, however, it is fairly inexpensive. Bottom line: It isn't bad, but I'd much rather spend the extra 25 cents and get a 22oz smirnoff ice or triple black. "

"Okay, this one is not even worthy of a position in my manual review journal. Anyway, the aroma is fruity and seltzer-like and very sweet. The appearance is of fruit juice with not much of a head on top that diminishes quickly. The mouthfeel is light and smooth with only sweet complexity. The flavor is of fruit punch, I think that was this beer's aim, with some malt notes with an alcohol taste in the finish that seems to numb my mouth, weird, maybe my taste buds are just pissed off. Overall, this is just juice with some alcohol and not very good but not that hard to drink. I guess this one could be classified as a "brew"-cooler?"
