Pale malt flavors are balanced with a rich hop character and a light fruit bouquet in this seasonal spring lager. Traditional dry-hopping and extended aging give this strong blonde bock a distinctive flowery aroma and a potent kick. "Very good brew. Pours light copper with floral aroma, maybe a bit herbal as well. Taste is slightly sweet and fruity--well balanced, smooth finish. "

"Able to come across this Maibock just before the month it honors has ended. I am a huge fan of this style and Sprecher has brewed up a great one. Clear, dense copper color with an orange tint. Large, filmy white head with slow carbonation and spotty lacing. Intriguing aroma of sweet, delicate malts, juicy citrus, and fresh flowers. Awesome scent, really sums up what the Spring season is all about. Light yet hearty body, real clean and refreshing. Nice drink after a long warm day. The flavor follows suit with the aroma. Plenty of caramel and nutty malts, real smooth with a nice depth. Citrus zest and floral hop flavors. Balanced and somewhat dry. This is excellent, goodbye May. "

"Sampled from bottle poured into a Sprecher pint glass, beer and glass thanks to pfoxyjohn. This bock pours brilliant light copper with a thin, but lasting white head. Floral aroma - but otherwise clean. Pretty balanced - which I love for the style. Syrupy-sweet bocks are just gross. Quite bready with some floral, spicy hops in the flavor. Medium-full body and easy to drink. It's obvious this has spent some time in the lagering tanks. An exceptional bock. "
