This tribute to St. Patrick's Day is smooth and creamy, with distinctive flavors and aromas reminiscent of bitter-sweet chocolate and dark coffee. Just one precious batch of this robust, ebony colored stout is brewed each year.

"Six months exactly until St. Patrick's Day - thank you O'pfoxyjohn for this excellent Irish goodness. Pours black with a nice thick sustained head that leaves some very nice lacing. Good carbonation. Aromas of roasted chocolate malts, coffee, a little sweet caramel and creamy vanilla and a tad bit o'hops. Taste is smooth, creamy with a toasted coffee and chocolate malt goodness with a dry hops finish. A very good stout."

"About 4 months since St. Patty's day and this beer just showed up on the local shelves. Seemed to still be in nice form, a hearty drinkable stout to say the least. Dark chestnut/brown pour with a lasting 1/2" head and mild lacing. Plenty of roasted malt and coffee aromas to keep my happy. Medium bodied stout that is smooth and drinkable. Creamy on the palate. Nuts, coffee and roasted malt flavors. Bitter chocolate finish with a buttery aftertaste. Minor hop presence, well balanced for a stout. Good brew."

"Pours black with small, tight head. Aroma boasts inticing sweet chocolate with subtle roastiness. Vanilla, coffee, chocolate combine for a delicious flavor. The finish is perfectly dry. Medium bodied with effervescent carbonation. Great example of the style. Thanks for pfoxyjohn for sending this one South."

"Sampled from bottle, thanks to pfoxyjohn. This stout pours blackened-ruby with a creamy tan head. Its aroma seems soured (like Guinness) with a faint dose of hops. Bread/caramel notes. Well-balanced with a dry finish. More caramel than what is found in most examples of the style. Lots of cocoa and less coffee than one might expect. Medium-full body and very easy to drink. A fine stout!"

"Colour is dark chocolate almost black, head is medium sized tan colour. Aroma is of lightly roasted coffee, and possibly a little scotch. Taste is incredible, coffee, toffee and hint of smoke. Awesome beer!"
