"Dark brown color. Small sized, white foamy head. Aroma is malty, chocolate and earthy. A medium bodied brown ale. Malts are chocolate and very roasted. Hops are slightly bitter. A very roasty and hoppy brown ale. Touches of smoke and wood as well. Nicely balanced. Interesting brown ale. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

"I’m going to admit before I even rate this that I think I’m very critical on Brown Ales to begin with...its a tough style for me to truly appreciate. This beer pours a very deep amber color with a think orangey brown head which left a small degree of lacing. The aroma is exactly what I’ve come to expect from a brown ale... cocoa and plastic....a strange but typical mixture. The carbonation level is light but tingling and the mouthfeel medium and tongue coating. Malty and somewhat nutty this beer almost feels watery and wet in the finish. Some plastic again noted near the finish...I believe this is a vain attempt at chocolate, but we’ll just say it was a failure for times sake! Roasty, but some other funky flavors that shouldn’t be here."
