Modeled after the famous malty, amber lagers of the German harvest festivals. Balanced with Bavarian hops and very drinkable. This delicious lager is a bit stronger than the German "Helles" (meaning light) style. Also more full bodied and flavorful.

"Knoxville Brewers' Jam 2008. Pours a clear deep amber with a nice white head and good lacing. Good carbonation. Aromas of sweet malts with a decent hops nose. Taste is smooth with a good malty base followed by a decent amount of hops. True to the style."
