A strong German style dark later. Sweet, malty finish with a touch of roasted malt. Traditionally sustained Bavarian monks during Lenten times. Rich, creamy bittersweet chocolate note.

"Pours a deep clear amber with a thin head and lots of nice tight lacing. Good carbonation. Aromas of sweet slightly toasted malts, sweet wheat, some chocolate malts and a hint of dark grapes and muscadines and hops. Taste is malty up front with a slight wheatiness with cocoa and a hint of fruity grapes with a slight hops finish. A very good bock - very smooth. "
