Sly Fox's new Barleywnine is big and satisfying, made with British Pale and Crystal malts and four varieties of hops. Panacea is full bodied, with an intense hop flavor balanced with a ton of malt and clearly defined alcohol warmth.

"On tap at the Blind Tiger in NYC. Poured a deep orangey brown, ok head for the abv, even some lacing on the way down. The aroma was fruity, grapes, sweet malts. The flavor was white grapey fruity, caramel, candy, rich, alcohol a little sharp, yet the zing finish was somewhat balancing to the sweet malts. The mouthfeel was full, a touch sticky sweet, not bad, though."

"Poured a reddish amber color with a small, off white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, tropical fruits, lots of caramel malts, pear, apple, and a vinuous character as well. Taste of lots of pine resin, tobacco, caramel malts, and a cascade hop finish. Light alcohol detected. This should be awesome with some age!"
