"I had Sly Fox Instigator Eisdoppelbock at the Grey Lodge for their Icy, Icy Bock night. It poured a brownish color body with purple hues on the edges. It was sweet with hints of banana/clove. For the high alcohol content it was quite good. "

"At the annual goat races, this Eisbock weighed in at 15%!! I needed to verify that with three people, the last being the brewer himself. Started out with 1/2 barrel and frozen, ended up with 1/6 of a barrel from that. Poured a deep dark purple brown color small off white head. Banana and clove, some wheat as well in the aroma. Sweet and malty, with some light fruit as well. Just the slightest bit of alcohol was detected. Considering the alcohol, this is the smoothest example of a beer this strong that I have tried! Gave me a buzz."
