This is the sixth beer in IPA Project 2005. Galena is considered an excellent bittering hop for use in almost any style of beer. It provides a clean, smooth bitterness and a mildly hoppy aroma.

"I managed to get a Growler of Sly Fox Galena IPA from the Grey Lodge in Philly. It poured a slightly hazy amber/copper color with a dirty white head. It had a spicy taste with a grapefruit finish that was quite enjoyable. Not the best Anniversary IPA from Sly Fox, but quite good none the less. "

"Poured a hazy amber color with a medium sized, creamy, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, grapes, caramel malts, and floral hops. Taste of spicy pine resin, light caramel malts, and a citrus grapefruit finish."
