"Renegade brewing (Siletz) does not mess around. These guys are for real...Their Red(head) ale pours cloudy a copper red with a head that sticks....Smell is smoky and soapy. The first sip hits with big flavor- sweet/spicy/sour, this is what red ale is all about to me.....A kind of BBQ like 'jamaican jerk' taste comes across first and notes of toffee spice, pepper & paprika, very tangy, and watermelon fruit taste.... Med. bodied, light mouthfeel and very smooth and a crisp finish, oak taste and a little funky, complex, mildly bitter/tart....Indeed"

"Poured an amber color with a thin off white head that left lgith lacing on the glass. Aorma of light dried fruits, toasted malt, nuts, and caramel. Taste of tropical fruits, light sweet caramel, and medium bitterness at the end."

"Dark amber color, slightly cloudy. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is caramel and orange. A medium bodied Irish Ale. Mild malts, slightly nutty and sweet. Hops are floral and a touch citrusy. Nice balance. Smooth taste. Generally not a big fan of Irish style ale, but this one is very drinkable. Very cool etched/painted bottle art. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter."

"mmmm an odd beer all round from the very nice and dare i say sexy screen print label on the bomber..to the taste. A very nice beer to look at in the glass, amber with a nice sized tan head, attractive carbonation. the smell is very malty and buttery for some reason this is not unpleasant but intrigueing. Taste again i get some nice malt then this buttery popcorn flavour which might throw some off..but I like it..after that there is a slight bitterness..that holds on in the throat for a few secs. Pretty smooth on the palate. An odd beer..but I liked it.
