Deep orange-gold hue. Pours with a creamy white head. Medium bodied. Bitter hop aromas make an impression on the nose. Husky, roasted, and grainy malt flavors with high carbonation and a dry, lingering bitter hop finish. A crisp and snappy style that is a good take on the pilsner style. "tasty, has a enriched bold wheat taste. it poured a little opaque yellow color! with very little head. you can really feel the hops tingling your tongue! again, this beer reminds me of the smell of a camp fire (nature like)."

"Seem less like a pilsner than it did just a quality german style lager. It has a sweet side, smooth and Rich with hearty malts; Toasted pale caramel malt flavor, mellow, Crisp and round mouthfeel, fruity notes and a bitter-nut finish and citric attitude. I like the Woolly Bully better, still this is a top american made lager"

"I love this brewery... Pours almost like a Hefe except a darker, almost burnt color. It's very cloudy. A huge fluffy yead leaves a sheet down the side of the glass. Scent is of Czech hops with a bit of malt; think of a really hoppy Pilsner. Taste is complex and extremely well balanced; both sweet and bitter, almost tart. I can't put my finger on anything specific, though. Mouthfeel misses the style but is damn good. I'd like to mark it higher I can't in good conscience. The carbonation dies too soon but it's still crisp. Overall this is awesome if not perfectly to style, and definately worth seeking out."

"Light gold color, slightly cloudy, large head. A light bodied, unfiltered lager brewed in the Czech style. Spicy Czech saaz hoops balance mild malts. A nice tasting lager. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. Nice lager, very refreshing."

"A pint at the Siletz roadhouse. Well a very nice looking lager, darker than the usual ppilsner..almost orange in colour, similar to a clear hefe...nice sized pure white head. Very hoppy aroma greets the nose..hoppy and fresh. There is however a good accounting of the malt on the first sip nicely done offsets the dry bitter finish quite well. Very good on the palate..a very nice drinking lager..I am beginning to love this brewery.
