Our ESB combines the best of English tradition with West Coast style. A blend of malts featuring British-grown Maris Otter is balanced with the earthy spiciness of hand-selected English and US hops. The ale is left unfiltered, which enhances mouthfeel and hop aroma creating a slightly reddish-copper hue.

"i kinda like the malts in this beer, but would prefer less spicy and more floral aromatic hops. otherwise, it's an average beer...maybe slighly better..."

"Bottle: Poured a copper colro ale with a medium foamy head with good retention and great lacing. Aroma of dry English-style malt with some citrus hops. Taste is also a mix between some dry caramel tasting malt with some west cost hops which provide a citrus bitter finish which clash against the malt. Average body with some good carbonation. I cannot say I overly enjoy the mix between the malt and the hops and this is definitely not the best from a usually pretty good brewery."

"Pours a burnt-orange/amber with finger-thin light tan and thick lace. Aromas of sweet malts, light hops, berries, and mild spices. Superb mouthfeel, smooth, tangy, rich, full-bodied, and doesn't fade. Flavors of caramel malts, hops, spices, light berries, and some tart. Delicious."

"This ESB pours a slightly hazy copper orange color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white creamy head. The aroma is malt and citrusy hops. A medium bodied ESB. The malts are caramel and sweet. The hops are citrusy and floral. Kind of hoppy for an ESB but the hops and malts kind of balance. Very drinkable. Nice carbonation. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. "

"Pours out in a hazy amber colour with hints of copper with a rich fluffy off-white foam. Dryish aroma of orange-peels, earth, mild flowers and toasted malts. Medium-bodied with dry flavours of nut-shells, orange-peels, earth, crackers and grass. Almost no residual sugars left here. Dryish, crisp medium-bitter finish of orange-peels, earth, nuts and grass.
