It's originating from the west of the region of Flanders, in Belgium. Its red colour is due to the type of malt utilised in it making. These beers are relatively light in body and acidic, which makes them very refreshing.

"Hazy reddish amber with a low white head. Light aroma of leaves and wild raspberries. Dryish flavour of nuts and cherries. Medium bitter finish with notes of red berries."
