"Pours cloudy gold with small, lasting head. Aroma boasts toffee, bread, and earth notes. The flavor has a nutty-caramel character that I liked, but there's an unpleasant metallic aftertaste. Medium bodies with moderate carbonation; would make a decent session beer."

"Sampled from bottle. Pours clear copper-orange with a thin, scattered head. Sweet, buttery aroma. Slightly sweet with some bready, caramelized malts and some diacetyl. Perhaps a bit of munich? Medium-bodied and smooth. A decent session beer but I'm not a huge fan of the yeast.l"

"dry and drinkable, but the flavor does nothing at all to sand out, nor does the nose. this is an average beer for the style. decent malt/hop balance."

"Now this is a good beer. The nose is slightly floral with heavy caramel notes. Malt and a hint of warming alcohol are on the finish. The pour is thick, clear amber. There is a thin white cap. The mouthfeel is thick and velvety and the taste is complex with malt, yeast and spice (in that order). The finish is a bitter and buttery. I would prefer just a little more hoppy bite from an ESB, but other than that, this beer is superb! Not a 4+ beer, but pretty darn close."

"A golden cooper colored brew that holds a white, frothy head. Quickly settles into a thin lacing. The nose is of toasted bread, berries, cloves and floral hops. The higher alcohol content adds a dryness to the mouthfeel. The palate picks up on the bread, yeast and floral hops. "
