Sharp's has launched a new beer in partnership with Rick Stein. The beer is named "Chalky's Bite" in tribute to Rick's faithful canine friend. Chalky's Bite is a very special beer with a brewing and maturation process of over four months. The beer is triple fermented using both the Sharp's yeast strain and a special Belgian strain and is uniquely flavoured with wild Cornish fennel.

"Bottled. Golden colour, not much head. Malts, and fruits in aroma. Flavour is citric, appleish and hoppy. Also alcohol is noteable as a small glueish/eggish mix in both flavour and aroma. "
