Full-bodied and deep copper-red in color, our amber ale has a rich malty aroma and flavor with an assertive hop character

"Maybe it's because I was a student in that town for four years and had way too many Tuesday night $1 pitchers at the brewery, but none of the Seabright beers ever treated me right. Their amber (as with most of their beers) is flat and relatively devoid of any distinctively sweet malt characteristics. Actually, I should be fare and say that I have had a few worthy pints from these folks, but with such inconsistent quality those few good batches are diluted by the overwhelming amount of swill that I've had from these folks (remember, $1 pitchers and college students are like bread and butter). Anyway, they have limited distribution in Northern California and of course Santa Cruz. Even if you’re in SC it's not worth a trip to the brewery, their food is even worse than the beer."
