"A really solid performer. An overall great German Pilsner with light head and good lacing. With it's medium body it's great in warmer weather vs. some other heavier beer. Also great with food - light or heavier fare."

"Yellowish golden colour, mediumsized white fluffy head. Aroma is malts, hops and quite salty notes. Flavour is very much the same along with a slightly vegetably and hayish finish. Quite watery, but still pleasant. "

"I can see that this beer would be a fantastic summertime beer, as it was a bit out of place drinking it during the wintertime. Still, it was an extremely refreshing, clean tasting beer. Aroma of hay and grass, and quite a bit sweet actually. Appearance is a golden yellow color, nice head with little lacing. Flavors were on the sweet side for a pils, but it still maintained the grassy/hay hoppyness. It was slightly oxidized, but it didn't detract in any way really. In the end, what you have is a classic German pilsner. Highly drinkable, crisp and clean and enjoyable."

"Best before 23 06 07.
Pours a light amber/honey colour. Nice rocky white head, leaving good lace.
Nice aromas of malts & grains.... a subtle, spicy note, not unlike a meat pie. Sounds strange, but that's what I pick, and it works OK.
Very malt-driven beer, more like a Northern German lager than a Pils. Nutty, dough-like. Herbal aftertaste, and a medium bitterness."

"nice bottle..love those swing tops. Pale golden colour lager, bubbly white head. a surprisingly malt orientated aroma,,malty/buiscuity..there is hops though. Again in taste this has a surprising amount of malt present, though the hops appear strongly at the end. Unusually bitter after taste. Typical german pils palate.. Overall not a bad Pils, more malt sided than most, but nothing very exciting. I would probably drink again if offered.
