"Fränken Bierausflug, Day#2, Brewery#7, Beer#12. Vom Faß at the brewery tap restaurant on the marketplace square in beautiful downtown Ebermannstadt. A deep, bright copper color, perfectly clear, with a dense off-white head. Aromas of sweet roasted malt, but light and reserved. Smooth, creamy mouthfeel with a bitter edge. Full-bodied and rich. Flavors of toasted malt, light toffee, and a long bitter-sweet finish. Clean, soft, and sophisticated, like the surroundings in which it is served; great atmosphere, food, and presentation - with only the incessant American pop background music out of place."
