[1] Review by Jacques from Sherbrooks, Canada who has tried this beer once. (10/23/2006 1:25:34 AM)
"Bottle: Poured a golden beer that is extremely hazy with great carbonation and a nice head with standard retention. Aroma is quite spicy with some small notes of malts being noticeable. Taste is like a Belgian ale with some emphasis on the spice. There is so much that it is difficult to distinguish. Alcohol is not noticeable and overall I think this is a great different tasting beer."

[2] Review by Chopz from Cantley, Canada who has tried this beer once. (3/26/2006 1:18:02 AM)
"Pours a cloudy caramel-beige colour with a nice creamy white. Retention is great, so is lacing around glass. Big fat chunks of yeast flow around the brew, with the heavy carbonation, from top to bottom. Nice citrus nose with some Belgian yeast. Thin mouthfeel, almost watery. The taste is the same for most Schoune, one that I have a problem with (except for their maple one). Hard to describe, semi-sour and feels outdated, but is pretty constant in their brews. Wish I could taste the spices they are talking about. Citric flavours with some bitterness in the finish. Light tart in the aftertaste. This one is really not for me."

"cloudy dark orange colour with almost no foam, chaotic aroma of rotten bread, candy sugar and alcohol, sweet and oily with a very unpleasant and sourish finish with notes of plastic and malt (3/2/3/2/4) - I fear I got an altered sample so I will let my old rating until I can taste it again"

Taste is like a Belgian ale with some emphasis on the spice. There is so much that it is difficult to distinguish. Alcohol is not noticeable and overall I think this is a great different tasting beer. I also noticed that Schoune has improved their bottling since I rarely find infected bottle anymore."
