2004, 2005 California State Fair, 1st Place, Blue Ribbon Winner!
This English influenced Ale uses generous amounts of Maris Otter, Crystal, and Dark Malts to produce a beer that is richly coloured (it's English influenced isn't it?), yet smooth and easy to drink. The subtle influence of Goldings Hops provides the perfect balance to this beer's malty backbone that embraces flavors of toast and caramel.

"This is a fantasic beer that is should be bottled but alas, it's not. A VERY clear amber pour, the nose is bready and nutty and somewhat floral. An extrememly well-balanced beer the flavor is matly, hoppy and just really easy to drink. I can see why it won at the State Fair. Nice job guys."
