2004 Great America Beer Festival™, Bronze Medal Winner!
This mighty Ale has a medium maltness and body with an assertive hop flavor and aroma. It's double dry-hopped for an incredible floral and citrus hop bouquet that contributes sweet notes to the final product. Over two pounds of hops per barrel goes into every batch.

"Light gold color. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is very floral and slightly fruity. A light to medium bodied IPA. Malts are fruity and slightly nutty and a touch sweet. Hops are kind of mild, and a touch citrusy. Tastes more like a pale ale than an IPA. Crisp and clean. Nice balance. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. "

"Had this on tap from the brewery, so it was nice and fresh. Somewhat dark in color and it has the huge Amarillo hoppiness aroma to it that is very nice. Slight grassy notes and malt backing balances it out nicely. I really enjoyed this. "
