Exclusively brewed in reminiscence of Georg Schneiders privilege of being part of the world famous Munich Octoberfest until 1942 when his renowned "Weisse Brauhaus im Tal, Munich" was destroyed. Enjoy and celebrate!

"Bought and drank over at the Barrel Maker Cooper Residence ... pours with quite a low head for a wheat beer ... is a bit soapy ... organic?? ... some banana and other off sweet flavours ... weird, odd, and not enjoyable ... I avoided this beer for almost 4 years, I was right in avoiding this pricey mundane beer.."

"Pours a golden color, hazy with a thick fluffy head that actually does settle down a little. Nice aroma consisting of bananas, tangerines, yeast, some lemons and vanilla. The flavor, as expected, is citrusy with banana and orange coriander taking a lead role. Some yeast and bready wheat malts mixed in. Somewhat of a mild seltzer mouthfeel. Perhaps that's the carbonation or maybe I made it up :-) Crisp and refreshing. Not my favorite hefe but it is probably in my top 5. "

"The aroma is nice with bananas and apples present with other fruits with even some faint bubblegum that can be detected. The appearance is much darker than I expected and is a light-brown to amber in color and cloudy to some extent with a whole lot of carbonation with a nice full head on top that is bubbly and seltzer-like and off-white in color and remains. The mouthfeel is light and crisp with good fruity complexity with very nice balance with a smooth pallet that coats nicely but not too much. The flavor is of dark fruit with hints of yeast and apples with maybe some coriander spice and has an aftertaste that is sweet with a crisp, smooth finish that is of some apples and very good. Overall, I liked this hefeweizen very much and I see why it is the highest rated of its style on this site. This was very good stuff and very tasty; for some reason I keep thinking of apple sauce. This brew is almost like liquid apple sauce."

"Pours a hazy yellow with little head and lacing. Good carbonation. Aromas of bananas, malty yeasts, very slight clove, and hint of earthy grass. Taste is solid with a nice sweetness in the fruitiness (bananas) and some spices and grains. Also the yeasty maltiness is slightly evident and does not interfere with any of the enjoyment of this great hefe."

"A very tasty hefeweieizen. Hints of banana, clove and spice both in the smell and taste of the beer. A cloudy, dark golden medium bodied colored wheat beer that was very refreshing to drink."
