"Another draft selection I had while visiting the Tap Room.
Pint arrived looking hazy with a deep orange color, thin white head of foam that settled to a thin ring. Little retention and no lacing.
Smell was definatly wheaty, with some bread and other yeasty and fruity aromas.
Tatse was good, very hefe-like. Lots of yeast flavor with a sweet fruity taste. Slight hop grapefruit balanced out by some biscuit malt. Good body, thin but to style, lots of carbonation gave a nice tingle bite on the mouthfeel. Another good one."

"Poured a clear light amber from the tap at Schlafly's Tap Room. Thin off-white head and sour aroma of banana, apple and clove. Flavors of fruit, malt, yeast and dark wheat. MUSIC: '5:15 Train' by A Sunny Day in Glasgow"

"This dunkel pours a medium brown color from a 12oz bottle. Large sized white foamy head. Aroma is biscuit, bread, a touch floral and sweet. A medium to light bodied dunkel. Malts are caramel, bready and sweet. Hops are slightly earthy. Nice balance. Smooth taste. Nice, but not overpowering, malt sweetness throughout. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet. "

"The aroma is spicey and full of wheat. The appearance is cloudy dark amber. The mouthfeel is what I can only describe as average, which is not too thick and not too watery. The flavor is spicey wheat. "

"Bottle courtesy Brett and Hannah. Pour was cloudy brown, nice initial head, solid lacing. The aroma was caramel, light roast, bananas. Flavor was outstanding, light caramel, a touch of roast, firm banana support (esp. for a dunkelweizen), notes of chocolate, cinnamon, and vanilla. Mouthfeel was perfectly, not heavy, yet still creamy smooth. Two thumbs up here on this one, perhaps my favorite of the style? Thanks, Brett and Hannah!"
