"a little thin, very average pale ale. there are better offerings out there, but it's worth drinking...it just does nothing to seperate itself from a large pack."

"Brown bottle served at the aunt and uncles. Poured a gold color, with a white head that thins to a floating cap. Some thin lace is left on the glass. The smell is bready malt with earthy hop fragrance. A bit metallic taste, with a good dose of hops. Some balancing roasted malt. The mouthfeel is a bit on the light side, good carbonation. Easy enough to drink, flavor was alright, but nothing really stands out. Decent, no complaints, but nothing special either."

"Poured a bright gold with a god white head. Decent lacing. Aroma of citrus, some malts, and a light hoppiness. Very smooth. Some sweet malts hit the tongue first, a little bit of caramel, and a nice balance of roasted hops in the finish. A mild bite..it could use a little more hops. Overall very enjoyable and easy drinking."

"I did not have high hopes for this one. That being said it was not that bad. There are just so many fantastic pale ales out there when you compare it to those then you get lower rating numbers. I did enjoy the mouthfeel and carbonation. Flavor was ok, something different about it.... just don;t know what it was."

"This is a typical Samuel Adams beer. Thick and foamy. Great appearance and mouthfeel. But where is the taste? There is a little chocolate malt (which I feel is out of place in a pale ale) and very, very little hops. I thought this was supposed to be a pale ale? I am so tired of the Samuel Adams ploy. Good looking beer. No taste. "
