Created by Samuel Adams employee Lili Hess, Hawaii
This is a very creative spin on a pale ale. As Lili describes it, "It's like you are drinking a pale ale after biting into a fresh green seedless grape." This delicate brew is light-bodied with unique sweet, yet dry flavors from the grapes. What a combination....

"creative, yes...but grape does not work in any beer, let alone a pale ale. yuck. otherwise, may have been an ok beer...hard to tell. luckily, they're not making this anymore."

"I made the mistake of reading the reviews before trying this one so I was a little nervous. The beer pours a nice light amber color but I didn't catch much of a grape aroma, smelled more like an English pale ale. Wish it would have been hoppier with a stronger grape and/or hop aroma."

"A light amber apperance with a moderate white head. A very nice looking beer but that really is the highlight of this beer. The aroma contains hints of citrus as well as the obvious grapes and some caramel. This one is rather bland with some grapes and citrus in the flavor. Interesting idea but not executed well. Overall boring but ok."

"Sampled from bottle. Pours dark gold with a thin white head and nice lacing. Tart fruit aroma. Balanced, fruity flavor. Grapes and beer - "what a combination..." as the bottle says. Really not a pale ale at all. More like a blonde. Certainly not a bad beer - just not my type."

"Pours copper with decent clarity and airy head. The faint aroma is malty with concord topnotes. The flavor is grainy and weak; finishes clean. Light bodied and gently carbonated. Not an award-winner in my book."
